Camping at NEC Taupo
Camping with Equines: Whether you are coming to an event or wish to use the NEC for casual schooling, you are welcome to camp on the grounds in your truck, float or tent. There are 12 power connections, ablution block and a communal kitchen for your use. Your truck/float must have a current electrical certification to use the power points. There are also toilets and showers if required. There is a dump station within the yarding area, by the PortaCabins.
Please go in Gate 1 and pay at the small hut by the gate. There is an honesty box where you place the envelope or payment slip for those who wish to pay via Internet Banking. Your details will need to be completed on the payment envelope/payment slip. There is no registration book.
This is an equine venue so care must always be taken if you are walking around the grounds and horses are present. The requirements of an event take precedence, Dressage Rotorua are holding an event at NEC this weekend so some of the camping area may be needed by this event. Be prepared to move if asked.
Pets are welcome but dogs must always be on a leash. Dogs are NOT allowed on the adjacent Landcorp farm.
